Alexander McQueen‘s Sarah Burton, whose wedding gown for Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge née Kate Middleton had the whole world talking , and Sara Blakely, the founder of Spanx, which had the whole world cinching.

And while Barack knows better than to cross Michelle — three words: White House fire — these former commanders-in-chief had no problem putting the O in Oval Office.

Back in the days when Twitter was what birds did and cell phones were still the size of small ponies, lucky girls across America could send their racy snail-mail pics to current (and besmirched) New York Representative Anthony Weiner via the address posted on his Cosmo Magazine profile. Yes, you read that right. Tony scored himself a place on Cosmo’s list of “101 Gorgeous Real Life Bachelors,” including an interview and picture under the highly ironic headline “The Future President?” Question mark indeed.

Satya Twena didn’t fall into design by mistake. Raised in an eclectic family of artists, the appetite to create was in her blood from the very beginning. After years working in the interior design business, Satya decided to test the waters of the fashion industry after realizing her great love for millinery. Lucky for us, her architecturally-inspired hats designed with experimental materials are truly wearable art. - I’m usually not in the habit of promoting food — after all, this is a fashion site — but I couldn’t resist with this tempting teaser of the food to be served at the Royal Wedding. And this food is so fashionable — and so expensive — it’s like haute couture culinary so it totally makes it okay.
