For those of you who don’t know: milliner Albertus Swanepoel has been a constant in the fashion world since 2004 and has collaborated with Alexander Wang, Carolina Herrera, Diane Von Furstenberg, among many prominent others.

Dana Kellin is an LA based jewelry designer recognized for pioneering the trend of wire-wrapped jewelry which are very popular now.

Albertus Swanepoel’s for Target features 14 colorful women’s hats, each priced at $19.99 and Dana Kellin for Target ranges in price from $9.99 to $49.99 and includes an assortment of delicate necklaces and earrings.

Both collections will be available for a limited-time beginning Oct. 30, 2011 at most Target stores and Target.com.

The issue’s cover photograph, an extreme close-up taken by photographer Alexi Lubomirski, focuses on Perry’s red lips, which have been covered in 150 ruby-colored Swarovski Elements. In the Zinio edition, motion graphics create sparkle and shine and a behind-the-scenes video of Perry’s cover shoot.

If you can tell, we are big Halloween people – as evidenced by our Snooki costume excitement – and cannot contain our glee over Simon Doonan’s costume collection for Target. The line, which hit online 5 days early, features quirky interpretations – ie. Spaghetti and Meatballs – a welcome break from the onslaught of slutty kittens and nurses that dominate the holiday.

But in typical Doonan fashion, he managed to slip a few pop culture references in there, too. “I thought of The Situation and those boys from ‘Jersey Shore’ when I did the T-shirt for the Pumpkin Punk Rocker costume.” Check out the line for yourself here:

“The first thing I thought of was that I wanted to do my signature red — my bordeaux,” the designer told WWD. “I would like to try to interpret a red lipstick that could be worn from day to night.”

The rouge color can be worn for day or night depending on the stroke in which its applied.  Adding gloss to lips after application will also change the depth and shine of the lip color.

The L'Wren Scott for Lancome collection will feather an eyeshadow quad, lipstick, lip gloss, a limited edition Lancôme's volumizing Hypnôse Drama Mascara in shimmery silver-ray and a gray nail color said to be a favorite hue in Scott's red carpet collections. The beauty collection will also come with a black rosette pochette as part of a gift with purchase.   Items will  be available online and at beauty counters in November and will retail between $14 and $42.

Vans is reportedly launching a shoe collection that will be perfect for children and toddlers. The California-based brand will be designing a shoe line that features the popular characters from Nick Jr.’s “Yo Gabba Gabba” — Muno, Foofa, Brobee, Toodee and Plex. According to “Women’s Wear Daily,” the new collection will come out in November just in time for the holiday season. Prices will range from $32 to $45.

Last week, Tommy Hilfiger announced the launch of Tommy, a new men’s
and women’s lifestyle collection for “twenty somethings,” and on Friday,
a slew of stylish New Yorkers descended upon The Gladstone Hotel to
receive a first look at Tommy’s Holiday 2010 collection. The aim of the
Tommy brand is to give Hilfiger’s preppy aesthetic a “fresh, young,
cool” twist.

This means washed tailored jackets, fitted blazers, denim
boyfriend shirts, slouchy sweaters, cropped biker boots, sequined shorts
and a smattering of prints. All in all, the collection is a bright mix
of preppy and grunge.

Tommy launches in October. To start, Tommy will be sold exclusively
in Canada, with a possible wider rollout to follow. Prices for Tommy
start at $24 for knits, $79 for denim and $139 for outerwear.

Could this new cover be any steamier? V Spain‘s latest issue tackles the question of sexy in the first ever Sexy Body issue, and narrows down all the beautiful people in the world to just 50 prettier than thou individuals.

Granted, we’re a bit biased, and would say that all 50 should be models – but apparently so is V given their cover choice! New momAdriana Lima stuns in a Dior cardigan, and clearly,this is an issue that no one should miss. It hits newsstands on June 22, just in time for your holiday beach vacation, but you better hurry – cause this is one that will sell out.

1. Koopersmith decided to celebrate the holiday on June 18th because “exactly two Months and three Days since Income Taxes were filed, ” she calculates, “any Refund due you should have arrived at your home.”

2. She also picked 6/18 to celebrate because, as she explains on her blog, it’s “a Yiddish Good Luck number”.

3. Koopersmith, who registered the word “Eventology” and explains the concept as “the art of event-making”, has also created over 1,900 other holidays along with companion “books, manuscripts, thesis, papers and designed art work on how to properly celebrate these Holidates.”

4. Koopersmith says of the holiday, it’s about “‘splurging on something’ you’ve had your eye on, especially with summer occurring just three days later.”

The holiday season is dawning upon us. It’s time to rush and scrounge and search and scramble throughout the shops - or perhaps just click over to various online  stores and get everything in one go, like I plan to do. 

As the weather becomes chiller, and snuggling up at home with your significant other and a glass of wine becomes de rigeur, I’ve found myself becoming enamoured with  a lingerie brand on the market. Namely, La Fee Verte, or The Green Fairy, also the nickname of the hallugenogenic liquor absinthe. Now, you don’t have to travel to Amsterdam to bear witness to colorful visions. Or, in this case, lacy underpinnings in bright shades like lime green, bright purple and coral, from creative director Adam Sakara. La Fee Verte makes playful lingerie that won’t seem trashy peeking out from beneath a sheer t-shirt.

Besides bras and panties, the line also features tights, sleepwear and loungewear fit for nights on the town.   They would make the perfect garments to channel a film noir siren or to conjure a 1920′s speakeasy vibe. Plus, Rachel Bilson is a fan!

I fell in love with the fledgling  Canadian lingerie  company after reading a brief write up in the October issue of Nylon magazine. Unfortunately, the brand isn’t stocked in too many places, including online boutiques. I’ve been searching everywhere, but can’t seem to get my hands on it.

This holiday season, I’ll be chasing the Green Fairy, and hoping that someone leaves me a coquettish bustier top or  some retro stockings underneath  the Christmas pine.
