Super Sonic Headphones Get Red Dot Design Award, Incase Dr. Dre was Wondering

Beats by who? There’s a new hottest headphone on the block, and it’s been given the Red Dot of approval. The Red Dot Design Awards (discerning good design since the ’50s) has named the InCase Sonic Over Ear Headphones the Product Design winner. Its minimal, anatomically heightened, smooth design paired with the designers’ drive to make the sound absolutely authentic, have garnered them the coveted Red Dot out of thousands of applicants.

When my 3.5-year-old MacBook crashed a few weeks ago, I was not a happy camper. The only good thing to come out of a dead battery and display is a new machine, and I am now gleefully typing from a 13″ MacBook Air. Though I am still gushing over its super skinny 2.96 pound frame and brand new Apple computer smell, I’m having trouble finding a sleeve that is both cute and fully functional.
