4th of July in Huntington Beach California is a HUGE Festival. It starts at 10:00 with a parade that marches down Main St. Marching Bands, Live Music, War Veterans, Cheer Squads and Stinky horses march down the streets as tourists and locals line the sidewalks with their American Flags waving.
The Fun part is once the parade ended. That’s when people hit the streets with their decorated bikes, skateboards, roller skates and flip flops. This is the first year that I actually took some time out of my family celebration to snap some pics of Surf City Style during a 4th of July Celebration. Of course there is always the girls wearing the star spangled bikini, but then there are girls actually struttin some style. I tried to snap as many pics as possible, but I had my 3 kids with me as well, so it was a balance between fashion and makin sure my kids didn’t get lost among the sea of party goers.
