Kristen McMenamy wanders about looking lost but impossibly beautiful in Alexander McQueen’s wondrous spring 2012 collection for AnOther Magazine.

- Heather Locklear was rushed to the hospital Thursday afternoon, allegedly for a mix of booze and prescription pills, but she seems to be doing fine and is said to be in “no danger.” [E!]

- Lil Wayne launched a T-shirt line called Trukfit, which is short for “The Reason You Kill For It.” When asked to describe the name in two words, Weezy responded: “‘Un…Usual,’ he said with a grin that broke into a croaky laugh. ‘That’s one word.’” [WWD]

- Halle Berry has decided to earn her diva stripes by walking down the aisle a third time. The Oscar-winner is engaged to fellow gorgeous person Olivier Martinez. [Us]

The deluxe 5×7  edition runs a cool $1500 but if you don’t feel like breaking the bank, the standard edition — at 3 ft x 5 ft — is only a measly $375. The historic issue features work from Bruce Weber, the Stevens (Klein and Meisel), Mario Sorrenti, Karl Lagerfeld and a cadre of other artists and photographers given, as Visionaire puts it, “the forum to take their visions to a massive scale.”

So who wants to go halfsies on the deluxe edition? The standard edition is nice and all, but since the theme of the issue is “Larger than Life,” you might as well go big or go home. [Visionaire]

You may remember that Gags stomped down the runway for Formichetti’s debut collection with the brand last fashion week, putting to shame many of the professional catwalkers who toppled over in their impossibly high tranny heels. Well, get ready to be upstaged again, ladies.

The short features a new Gaga remix — adding to the 3000 remixes already making the gay rounds — and will premiere at the Mugler show on Wednesday September 28th at 9:30 pm — which I’m assuming is French time, making it more like 3:30 EST.

In the run-up to his spring 2012 collection, Formichetti will release teasers of the film via various social media networks and starting today the adorable panda will take to Tumblr as he liveblogs from the Mugler atelier. [WWD]

- The New York Dermatology Group is offering half-off on Botox injections during Fashion’s Night Out. Well I know where I’ll be with a half-smile frozen on my otherwise immobile face. [Fashionista]

- Over 50 shows are live-streaming during this Fashion Week. A lot to keep track of, but luckily someone already did that while you were hating your life during the course of the workday. [The Cut]

- Last Fashion Week’s economic impact on Lincoln Center was roughly about $20,902,193, with an estimated $233 million impact per season citywide. And that’s not even counting drug money. [NYT]

- Lanvin‘s Alber Elbaz continues to be the most adorable thing this side of…well, these Lanvin dolls. In a talk he gave over this weekend, Alber explained why he just says no: “I don’t take drugs because if I did I’d love them – I’d be a junkie. And because I’m Jewish, I’d probably be a dealer too.” Comedy! [Vogue UK]

- Then there are those designers who don’t even know what “no” means. And the result: superstardom. At least that’s what I got from this particular fable. Drugs only help. [Refinery29]

Lilo, Dominique Strauss-Kahn, Casey Anthony. Court has been on the mind as of late, and not always in the most glamorous of ways. Not to worry, fashionistas! Donna Karan is here to soothe your high-heel-induced migraines (ahem, Michelle Bachman) and your sense of propriety with these amazing new images from her Fall/Winter 2011 campaign. The decidedly gray palette understatedly emphasizes the luxurious shapes and fabrics of the collection, and Isabeli Fontana‘s lawyer face makes me want to immediately take out student loans to go to law school (and to buy all of these clothes).

The campaign was shot by Inez Van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, with creative director Trey Laird and stylist Nicoletta Santoro. Ruling: guilty of major fabulousness. Check out the images below and decide for yourself.

- Jennifer Lopez will be on HSN this weekend, and while her team of handlers explain what an HSN is, J.Lo found her light and showed some gam for new fragrance Love & Light‘s ad campaign. [People]

– Professional stunner and sometime actress, Eva Mendes, on her new gig as the face of Thierry Mugler‘s 19 year old fragrance,  Angel.

The new campaign, conceived by Thierry Mugler himself, is expected to cost about $5 million over the next twelve months. This will include a film shot by British director Baillie Walsh, a significant digital campaign featuring a strong social  media component and print ads shot by genius duo, Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, set to run in September.

Mendes, who has previously shilled for Revlon and is the current face of Pantene, replaces co-actress Naomi Watts as the Mugler Angel. For the TV commercial, shot in Prague, Eva displays her vocal chops on the classic “Windmills of Your Mind.”

Wait, you mean the brand that was the most frequently used on the cover of Vogue in 2010? Not that we’re complaining much, but it’s a little predictable, and not quite… French.

And guess who’s photographing? Inez van Lamsweerde et Vinoodh Matadin. Again, not complaining, but they too were the most frequently used photographers for Vogue covers in 2010.

Emmanuelle, please take these reigns you’ve earned, and steer. We love what’s been done, but please introduce us to something new.

“Everything I do has been approved by me personally,” Minaj told V Magazine. “My team is mostly made up of guys, but none of them would ever think about telling me what to wear or what to do with my hair. They know that ultimately I’m gonna do what I’m gonna do.”

The film takes its name from the Antony and the Johnsons song that serves as the soundtrack and features animation by Bouwine Pool and illustrations by Jo Ratcliffe.

Inez explains that she and Vinoodh were “fascinated with the different realities going on in one shoot and so the music, the animation, Kate’s movements and the camera angle represent these layers of perception.”

And while I live for Givenchy and its brilliant creative director Riccardo Tisci, the Givenchy gabardine pants on Garrett don’t do anything for him, nor, more importantly, for me.

On the bright side, in addition to Stone and Hedlund, W‘s list of “who’s happening now” also includes fashion designers Haider Ackermann and Joseph Altuzarra.

The mother and muse goes all rock goddess biker chick chic on our asses for a spread with Vogue Paris, lensed for Inez and Vinoodh.

Now THIS is what I call modeling. If this picture were a man, I’d take it to Vermont and marry it. Well, maybe not Vermont…

Look at me, I’m Sandra Fucking Dee! (Stockard)Channeling a little Grease, Kate, Inez and Vinoodh are a threesome made in heaven.

This story reminds me of a joke I once heard about two horses crossing the street; of course in that joke, both of them were wearing jumpsuits and it ended in a glue factory. Either way, American Vogue staple, and the hardest working equine in the derby that we call fashion, Raquel Zimmerman, is a vision in this Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin spread.
