Riccardo Romances with Givenchy’s Fall 2011 Haute Couture Collection

Riccardo Tisci is a genius. There, I said it. What he’s doing at Givenchy is truly the future of haute couture: implicitly sexy, exquisitely detailed and deceptively simple. There are no opulent presentations with ornate sets because the main and only attraction of a Givenchy Haute Couture show is the clothes. And for Fall 2011, Tisci presented ten gorgeous gowns that only further cements his place as my favorite designer in my heart and mind.
