Two NYU grad students have taken the phrase wear your heart on your sleeve to a literal level. They’ve created sweatshirts that show the effects that air pollutants, like car exhaust and second hand smoke, have on our bodies via appliqued internal organs. Blue veins glow in the lung and heart when they are negatively affected. Well, that’d be a bombtastic shirt to wear to a black-light house party!

So you know how most people cannot finish a can of soda by themselves, well now with the help of  Ukranian (we are a smart bunch) inventor Johan De Broyer, there is a clever way to re-seal those cans, and opens up new possibilities for advertisers at the same time. The tab pops as usual, and then when you want to re-seal it, you turn the pop top tab and it completely closes up the can again.

The inventor says his invention can creates a completely tight seal with an added incentive for advertisers. That right, it’s about time someone improved those 250 billion drink cans consumed annually. I know that this has nothing to do with fashion but it’s amazing that there are people out there creating more and more eco friendly products or making improvements on old ones in order to make a change.
