Kangol is sponsoring the New York presentation of the exhibition, Hats: An Anthology by Stephen Jones, open through April 15, 2012 at Bard Graduate Center and in celebration, Jonathan Adler, Amy Fine Collins, Simon Doonan, Lulu Guinness, Yoko Ono and Diane von Furstenberg have all designed special, one-of-a-kind Kangol hats.

From a plumber’s apprentice to styling Britney Spears’s latest video, “I Wanna Go,” celebrity stylist David Thomas has had a long, sonically-inspired and inspiring journey, dressing some of the biggest pop stars over the last 20 years. Having dealt with fashion emergencies for the likes of Puff Daddy Diddy, Diddy Dirty Money Sean Combs, Boy George and Chris Brown, Thomas will display some of his most notable looks from the past six months in seven vignettes created in conjunction with British artist William Blanchard as part of his exhibit, “In Case of Fashion Emergency Break Glass.”

Socialite, heiress, fashion icon and occasional window dresser Daphne Guinness spoke about dear departed friend, editor Isabella Blow during an exclusive tour of the Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty exhibit at the Met last week. Having bought Blow’s wardrobe to prevent its auction, Guinness now wants to display them, perhaps via a virtual museum.
