J Brand Introduced Jeans for ‘Curvier Girls’
Edited by Rebecca Alexander

High-end J Brand Jeans have introduced J Brand Blue Label, with “a more generous cut in the leg and contoured waistbands to fit curvier girls.” Don’t really understand why J Brand can’t just make a jean that flatters curves rather than ghetto-izing…but, progress?
Good question Fashionista? Although, I must say I don’t agree. J Brand is very smart for doing this and it has nothing to do with “Ghetto-izing” the denim, it’s just about giving women who are curvier a chance to wear skinnier leg jeans. Most skinny jeans are not made with room in the thigh or butt, therefore if you are above a size 4, you can’t really squeeze into them, and when you are spending upwards of $200 on a pair of premium denim, you want them to fit no matter what the size.
