Our selection is purely subjective, with a mix of New faces like Carola Remer and Julia Saner who are starting to get substantial exposure in high end fashion editorials and several advertising campaigns and of course there are Super Models Abbey Lee Kershaw and Anna Jagodzinska (Anna J.) who continue to be in high demand by the professionals in the fashion industry,  confirming their long lasting presence at the Top of the Charts. Styled by Olga Dunina, pieces from Pamela Love, Blumarine, Ralph Lauren and Stetson were used to create this western fantasy shot by Jason Kibbler. There’s something about western style that always makes me long for summer. Sigh.

“I plan on putting my feet up and not doing a damn thing for two weeks! 2010 has been a rewarding, fulfilling year and its about time I enjoy it at home in North Carolina.”

Molly Sims:

“I will be in Miami with my family. My brother has a baby so we decided to have Christmas there every year until I have children of my own. My favorite part of Christmas and the holiday season is being with my family and friends. My mom and I always make red velvet cake and Christmas cookies and she always ends up yelling at me when I make the cake wrong.”

Lily Aldridge:

“On Christmas Eve I always get a new pair of pj’s! This year I have my eye on the Victoria’s Secret Dreamer flannel set!!! I love a set of Christmas pj’s. How are Models Spending the Holidays? Looking a Lot Better than You. ”

Inspired by 1986 video documentary Heavy Metal Parking Lot—which captured fans tailgating before a Judas Priest concert—the first V spread channels the heavy metal fashion that may have been part of the mayhem. Models include Lakshmi Menon, Jacquelyn Jablonski, Kori Richardson, Yuri Pleskun and Berthold Rothas.

The 80s cult classic film Heavy Metal Parking Lot exposed a world of fashion so bad it was good. Some 25 years later, the clothes might have changed but the attitude is still the same

One of these things is not like the other. V Magazine is out to prove that no matter what your size is, you can make it work.

Here are the advance photos by Terry Richardson from V Magazine (issue #63): “The Size Issue,” featuring top plus-size model and author of “Hungry” Crystal Renn alongside newcomer—and more traditional model body-type—Jacquelyn Jablonski.  V63 does not hit newsstands until January 14, 2010.

Appropriately titled “One Size Fits All,” Richardson’s photo spread showcases Renn and Jablonski side-by-side in identical looks, matching sample size outfits and similar poses. Still, the effect is a powerful one that proves fashion can flatter any figure. Most recently Renn—who has walked the runway for Jean-Paul Gaultier and graced the cover of American Vogue—famously penned her own weight and body image struggles within the model industry in a memoir entitled “Hungry: A Young Model’s Story of Appetite, Ambition and the Ultimate Embrace of Curves,” which was released this fall.
