The last Jaeger London collection I truly loved was the label’s Fall 2008 collection, but designer Phoebe Philo finally resurrected the thumbs-up appeal of her label. It was a predominately English vibe with khaki suits, plaid leather buckle jackets, loosely knit sweaters, belted trenches and English-riding like hats. But perhaps the best element of the collection were the shoes, a combination of Ugg boots and leather booties.
