Interesting collection. Not sure if we’ll actually see any of this hit the streets…

RUNWAY RUNDOWN: James Long Fall 2009 Collection menswear designers

The Fall 2009 James Long Collection is pretty great if you ask me. There are plenty of small things that I think really make this collection great. The knee patches are pretty cool on all the pants, and the use of patent leather accents against the patterned material creates some pretty great looking pieces.

Starting off the winter season with a stylish foot forward, James Long has revealed his A/W ‘08 collection.  Though James began the label based solely off of accessories, he has invested his time and passion into expanding the accessories and clothing the label has to offer. The A/W  ‘08 collection truly embodies this expansion. The line explores a wide variety of pants, jackets, sweaters and accessories, allowing the label to cater to a wide range of interests. The line sticks to a more basic color palette of blacks and whites, paying increased attention to the design detail within each ensemble. With a warm yet stylish jacket for the winter along with great accessories to match, I’d give the collection a thumbs up.
