Jay Z’s latest, Young Forever featuring Mr. Hudson might just become my official anthem cause mentally I’m about 12 year old.

The video for Empire State of Mind has just hit the web. Love this song. It’s the perfect tribute for the greatest city on earth. If you don’t like this song your most likely from LA.

Here’s a vid of the VMA ‘oops’ that no one cared about. Lil Mama jumped onstage at the end of Jay-Z and Alicia Keys’ performance at the end of the VMAs last night, it’s kindof funny because Jay-Z tries to push her out of the way a little bit..no one has really commented on this issue as much as the Kanye one, but there is a Twitter topic going around about it (#lilmamais). What do you think, desperate for attention? Or ‘really sorry?’

I headed over to the last Jelly Pool Party of the summer yesterday with Alyssa and Jamie from Love Brigade to see friends play dodgeball, and watch Grizzly Bear. I had heard of Grizzly Bear, but I had never seen them. I was pleasantly surprised by their live show, and I think Mischa Barton, Solange Knowles (or is that Beyonce?), and Jay-Z all were too. The lines were crazy long, and people were trying to jump the fences (one girl ate shit and fell flat on her face), but overall, everyone seemed to be in to the beautiful weather and awesome music. Check out Grizzly Bear on their site, and see photo evidence of the whole day (and after party) by Nicky Digital. Sundays are fundays!

I haven’t put my pirate hat on yet and started hunting for it, but the rumor is that Jay-Z’s Blueprint 3 is up for grabs on the web. It’s insane how the Internet ruined a lot of what the music industry once was. Anyone steal this album yet? Is it any good?

“The song is about evolution and the progress, you start out as a new artist and you make your way into the game. You climb that mountain and you get to the top and you put your flag down. This is us putting our flag down. This is Roc Nation. Pledge your allegiance. You’ve got to put your flag at the top of the mountain and say we run this town.”

I’m not a big hip hop fan, but I must say that I respect the hell out of Jay-Z. Not only does he put out amazing music, his videos tend to be top notch and ahead fo their time as well. Here’s a little preview for the upcoming “Run This Town” video. Looks amazing!

Not only was Lenny Kravitz on the cover of Russian Vogue, he was also featured inside as a photographer, taking photos of various celebs who are also his friends.

Remember that little number by Henry Holland? Ever what it would look like on a pregnant woman who could explode at any second? Check out this video of M.I.A performing with (soon to be jail bait) T.I, (the ass of our generation) Kanye West, (the socially accepted, talentless junkie) Lil Wayne, and (the 95 year old “gangster”) Jay-Z at the Grammys last night. Sorry M.I.A but this may have been the worst opportunity to wear you House of Holland gear, or dance like you normally do.
