When the first images from this Jennifer Connelly campaign surfaced i was not a fan of the intentionally awkward posing, it seemed like the photo editors had it out for her. Now, when I see the series together, my feelings have changed. The slightly robotic posing gives Jennifer the look of a fierce creature and draws extra attention to the amazing footwear. They ask her a million annoying questions about single life vs. married life, but she still remains one of the most photogenic and interesting-looking actresses out there.

They put her in a lot of white outfits (spring!), which ends up being a great contrast with her dark hair.

I didn’t get the memo that dressing like robots was the new thing. Regardless, I’m not sure I’d want to jump on board. Jennifer Connelly is looking more awkward than usual in this Givenchy number. The dress doesn’t hug any parts of her body but rather hangs loosely as if draped on cold, hard steel. The cutouts hit all the wrong places, which gives the impression she is playing dress-up in mommy’s ill-fitting clothes.
