As if Dior hasn’t teased us enough in the past year, keeping us wondering for 13 months who’d fill John Galliano‘s Creative Directorial heels (thank you, Raf Simons), we’re now faced with another teaser. The newest Dior film, Secret Garden – Versailles, flashes Daria Strokous, Melissa Stasiuk and Xiao Wen Ju in Marie Antoinette’s playground, in slightly scandalous exposure. The full film drops tomorrow, and sticking with their newfound knack for keeping directors hush hush, we won’t know who directed this film until it launches on Dior.com, May 3rd, 2012.

To quote a famous poet, “I got the Rolly on my arm and I’m pourin’ Chandon/ And I roll the best weed ’cause I got it goin’ on.” Yes, we can all have it going on this April 20th, just the way his High Holy Snoopness intended it. 420 is like stoner Christmas — the holidaze to end all holidaze. You’re likely to see these mavericks of marijuana — these Wizards of Weedly Place, these potentates of pot intake — wandering the streets and haunting 7-11′s the world over, as out of touch as their wardrobes. Granted, the garden variety stoner is not what one would call a fashionista, but if they can they lift their dreadlocked heads from the sweet, sweet lips of their bong to take a look in the mirror, they can avoid these few style missteps and look as fly as they feel.

Well it’s about goddamn time. Dior has confirmed that recently ousted Jil Sander creative director Raf Simons will replace John Galliano as its head of couture.

I don’t know what it is, but there’s something about Paris Fashion Week that brings out the crazy in everyone. Lest you forget it was around this time last year that John Galliano went swimming in a pool of anti-Semitic haterade, thus plunging the fashion world into a year-long speculative mission regarding his successor, Christophe Decarnin had his breakdown and falling out with Balmain and Kanye West dropped the biggest bomb of his career – and I’m not talking about 808s & Heartbreak. Not to mention a few months ago during the spring 2012 season that whole fashion calendar war was ignited. This PFW promises to be, if not equally scandalous, at least worth the clutching of your collective Chanel pearls. Here are the top scandals burning down the City of Lights.

Turns out the rumors were true — or at least half true. Jil Sander, the lady, is returning to Jil Sander, the label. The latter announced today that the former would indeed return to her eponymous brand after retiring eight years ago. “I am very happy and excited to be back. It feels like coming home after a brief journey,” Sander said in a statement. “The fashion world needs original voices and genuine signatures. I will do my best to, once again, join the choir.”? Meanwhile, Raf Simons ends his seven-year stewardship of Jil Sander with his final collection on Sunday, but what he’ll do after that is still up for speculation…
