Bill Gaytten, John Galliano‘s longtime assistant not only took over his former boss’ namesake label but seems like he’s also running Christian Dior for now. And if his Fall 2011 Haute Couture show is any indication, he’s running it right into the ground. The first of many mistakes? Karlie Kloss not opening the show for what would have been like the 300th time.

With the wedding of a British Kate comes FashionIndie‘s inevitable wedding gown predictions. Though lacking the hysteric speculation surrounding Kate Middleton and her inevitable Alexander McQueen gown, Kate Moss‘ wedding this weekend to Jamie Hince will be a major fashion moment. Not only the supermodel’s first stroll down the aisle, but if rumor truly does have it Moss will wear a dress by longtime friend, John Galliano. If she does, it will no doubt be beyond epic and possibly the beginning of the embroiled designer’s comeback. But while we’re eagerly awaiting Kate’s wedding day, here are some possible choices she might employ for Mosstock.

While John Galliano was standing trial over the anti-Semitic rant heard round the world, Bill Gaytten was taking a bow as creative leader after the Galliano menswear show. But as the New York Times‘ Cathy Horyn suggests, there might be some hope of the designer returning to the LVMH fold.
