Get ready for the call of the forces behind Italian Cinema! Drawing upon precise inspiration, sisters Julia and Natalia Alarcon are ready to unleash their masterpiece. Each piece in the Lialia Spring 09 collection is as innovative as it is cohesive. The sisters mend pieces which they have “infused…with [their] memories of summers spent on the Spanish Mediterranean coast — where women dressed up without being made up.”

Works embracing figures such as Sophia Loren and Monica Vitti have emerged as a success-story result. Manipulating fabrics into distinct designs, the designers refuse to stop at average. The dresses, whilst formed for countless occasions, portray an image of innate flair and characteristic edge. Bright colors strewn amongst the pieces catch all eyes in sudden awe. As for the color palette, the designers draw upon the sea, the sun, and the coastline for a strong sense of balance. “It’s about attitude and confidence,” say the designers. They certainly have achieved those chief goals.
