Luxurious, sexy, undeniably covetable –  these are only three ways to describe Romanian lingerie brand I.D. Sarrieri, turning out lavish collections since 2002. Designer Iulia Dobrin doesn’t care much for solely functional lingerie. She created the brand with a sophisticated, stylish woman in mind, a woman who not only needed practical underpinnings but wanted all the bells and whistles to go along with them. Fox News and its voice of reason, Sarah Palin — sidebar: can we talk about Julianne Moore‘s future Emmy for portraying the former governor of Alaska – took issue with the Obama’s Christmas card featuring the First Dog, Bo Obama, due to its lack of, as Palin so eloquently put it, “family, faith and freedom.” Enter Rachel Maddow, my fourth favorite lesbian on TV (but still way ahead of Suze Orman), shoulder pads and sensible haircut ablazing to put everything in perspective.

Christina Aguilera is quickly becoming my favorite diva trainwreck, especially since everything’s relatively quiet on the Whitney Houston front. Apart from flubbing the National Anthem, nearly falling at the Grammys and passing out in Jeremy Renner‘s bed, Aguilera also called her brother’s girlfriend a whore and threatens to fire anyone who even suggests she might have a drinking problem. Xtina hasn’t inspired me this much since belting “Beautiful.”
