Daydream Believer

Edited by

Remember dreamcatchers? So do we. Which is why we were over the moon when we found this grown up version of our summer camp staple by hot new label Handle Only With Love (HOWL). Each handmade, unique piece is meant to bring positive and symbolic energy to its owner through healing gemstones, charms, and mix of vintage and contemporary chain metals.  And, they look super cute on.

Dazed & Confused’s Sweet 16: The Rest of Rankin’s Twenty 20th Anniversary Covers

Edited by

Dazed & Confused continues to blow out the candles on its 20th birthday, revealing the 16 other covers by Dazed co-founder Rankin. Tilda Swinton, Michael Stipe, Kelis, Gael García Bernal, Cillian Murphy, Damien Hirst and Björk are just a handful of celebrities and artists that were moodily-lit and lensed by the mag. Meanwhile, Milla Jovovich reminds us all that before beating up zombies and banging Bruce Willis – same thing really – she was actually a model. And by the looks of her Dazed cover, a damn good one.

WTF!?! Juliette Lewis At The ‘Whip It’ Premier

WTF!?! Juliette Lewis At The Whip It Premier

I know this movie is supposed to be about edgy roller derby girls, but this is hideous. I don’t even know where to begin…the pink underlay lace gloves? The disgustingly ill-fitting sequined romper? The swirl tights? The whatever the fuck that is around her neck?

I have no idea what Juliette Lewis was thinking, but I’m going to go ahead and say that she just wasn’t. Or got dressed in the dark.

WTF!?! Kate Lanphear Sits BEHIND Celebrities At G-Star Raw Spring 2010

WTF!?! Kate Lanphear Sits BEHIND Celebrities At G Star Raw Spring 2010

I just got back from the G-Star Raw Spring 2010 show, and while I should be left with impressions of the clothing, I can’t help but wonder why Kate Lanphear, style director of Elle Magazine, was seated behind celebrities Juliette Lewis, Kat Von D, Eric Balfour and Leonor Varela, let alone on the side runway (yep, that’s her in the upper left corner!) I admire Lanphear’s support of fashion, as I’ve seen her at numerous shows and throughout the tents this past week, and I feel like her influence is far more important than an actor’s or tattoo artist’s.

If I learned one thing during this season’s fashion week, it’s this: DAMN PUBLIC RELATIONS PEOPLE NEED TO GET THEIR SHIT TOGETHER.

Fetherston Sets The Record Straight: No QVC

Fetherston Sets The Record Straight: No QVC

WWD reported this morning that Erin Fetherston was excited to enter the short-film business along with Juliette Lewis.  However, Fetherston later set the record straight: no Lewis in the film (set to be made by Marisa Crawford), and no QVC either.

Fetherston’s husband, Hedi Ferjani was said, again by WWD to be setting up a project with QVC, but again, this was false.
