I know this movie is supposed to be about edgy roller derby girls, but this is hideous. I don’t even know where to begin…the pink underlay lace gloves? The disgustingly ill-fitting sequined romper? The swirl tights? The whatever the fuck that is around her neck?

I have no idea what Juliette Lewis was thinking, but I’m going to go ahead and say that she just wasn’t. Or got dressed in the dark.

Belle Sauvage debuted yesterday at London Fashion Week, love their show stopping prints. Belle Sauvage is a new London based label that has developed a huge celebrity following from La Roux, Lady Gaga, Juliette Lewis to Kelly Osbourne, VV Brown and New Young Pony Club amongst others.

I just got back from the G-Star Raw Spring 2010 show, and while I should be left with impressions of the clothing, I can’t help but wonder why Kate Lanphear, style director of Elle Magazine, was seated behind celebrities Juliette Lewis, Kat Von D, Eric Balfour and Leonor Varela, let alone on the side runway (yep, that’s her in the upper left corner!) I admire Lanphear’s support of fashion, as I’ve seen her at numerous shows and throughout the tents this past week, and I feel like her influence is far more important than an actor’s or tattoo artist’s.

If I learned one thing during this season’s fashion week, it’s this: DAMN PUBLIC RELATIONS PEOPLE NEED TO GET THEIR SHIT TOGETHER.

WWD reported this morning that Erin Fetherston was excited to enter the short-film business along with Juliette Lewis.  However, Fetherston later set the record straight: no Lewis in the film (set to be made by Marisa Crawford), and no QVC either.

Fetherston’s husband, Hedi Ferjani was said, again by WWD to be setting up a project with QVC, but again, this was false.

OK. I know I’m going to get some grief for this.

But I actually really like Juliette Lewis’ outfit here. I imagine it’s for a film or a shoot, because not quite as zany as her usual style.

While I’ll concede that there’s perhaps a little too much shine going on, I’m particularly obsessed with the tights.

I’m sorry.  I want them so hard.

I’m also running a fever, for real, so I might regret this all after some Dayquil.

I love Juliette Lewis’ style both on and off the stage- she always looks completely insane. From ultra tight and bright rock star pants to feather headdresses, she continues to shake and stir both the music and fashion worlds.  The fabulous Lewis even modeled for the spring/summer Miss Bikini Luxe collection in Milan on Saturday. Is there anything this rocker/actress/fashion plate/model can’t do?

I have no idea what brought Pink, Winona Ryder, and Juliette Lewis together, but I’m glad something did.

Renzo Rosso has been attending amfAR galas for more years than he will comfortably admit. The philanthropist recently hit in the Cinema Against AIDS benefit at the Cannes Film Festival, where it appears that seatmates Juliette Lewis and Petra Nemcova set the Diesel chief’s charitable fire up a notch or two.  On the spot, Renzo donated $150,000 to the construction of a hospital for the care of children suffering from AIDS in Malawi. No word on whether Madonna will be involved, but Lewis cheered in approval. She certainly looked the part in her frock from the Diesel Black Gold casual luxury collection launching this fall.
