“I love a jumpsuit. I wore one last night, at the Met event, and I had to have a girlfriend take me in and out of it every time I had to go to the bathroom — so it does have its drawbacks, but I love them because they’re just so effortless. I think that pretty much sums up my brand.”
TRENDSPARK: Jumpsuits Are Everywhere

I for one, am glad to see the jumpsuit making yet another comeback.
They are easy to wear and most are very comfortable. I personally favor the ones that are loose, as they are very flattering to the figure. I love the “long and lean” look, as most accentuate the legs making them appear long whether you have long legs or not. The more “tailored” looks from Ralph Lauren and Yves St. Laurent are perfect to go from day to night with a change of shoes and accessories. In my book they are a definite “fashion do”. Here are just a few of my favorites.

Here are just a few of my favorites. From top to bottom the designers are as follows: PHILLIP LIM, PROENZA SCHOULER, YVES ST. LAURENT, RALPH LAUREN, DEREK LAM, BEBE and ANTHROPOLOGIE.

Dear Jumpsuits and Rompers,
Please, please go away. You are a rather unflattering article of clothing that only works on girls who have Giselle-like abs, and often result in a very awkward fit around the crotch area. I don’t care if Samantha wore you in the SATC movie, or if you have graced the lithe and lovely forms of Gwyneth Paltrow and Diane Kruger. You are a sartorial misstep on multiple levels. It would be much appreciated if you would leave this territory to skydivers, NASCAR, Air Force pilots and small children.
Thank you.
Best regards,
lins
Trendspark: Jumpsuits
No longer just for men at work, the jumpsuit is back; and hugging feminine curves in all the right places. We once thought that it took a strongly fashion-forward woman to wear a jumpsuit, but upon further consideration, we think it just takes a smart one. Yes, some all-in-ones make a big statement, but there are so many subtle styles available that it’s possible to find a suit for any situation.
