Screw Bondage! Lets Go Pinup!
Find more photos like this on Fashion Indie
Timothy White recently rounded up a star studded group of models to photograph for his new book Hollywood Pinup. The shot are sexy, old fashioned and awesome! Some of my favorite people were in the shoot too. Michelle Trachtenberg, One of the Olsen Twins (don’t know which one), Elisha Cuthbert and Kate Hudson. I’m not one who reads much of anything besides blogs (loser I know), but I might actually have to buy this book strickly for coffee table purposes to keep my YSL and Louis Vuitton books company.
Thanks Egotastic for the images.

Moments in Fashion Week
Friday began a new season of Fashion Week. New York is bursting with editors, actors, models, stylists, wannabe’s, and Andre J look-a-likes. Here are some quick-hitters from the last couple of days:
Spit-out-that cereal, you’re in the presence of the Zoe. Rachel Zoe wrangled ‘friend’/client Kate Hudson to celebrate her new show ‘The Rachel Zoe Project’ (shudder)
Tyra doing her favorite thing, throwing a party for herself, and her Harper’s Bazaar cover (shudder)
Rihanna rocking the tailored menswear look on the way to rehearsing for the 5th Fashion Rocks concert
Mary Kate handling the hipster side of Fashion Week. Here she is at the Dazed and Confused magazine party

The Inter-Views of Fashion: Kate Hudson

Kate Hudson talks to W mag in the Sept issue.
On taking risks: “I have this personality—and there’s a downside to it too—but I have this thing where it’s like, okay, I’ve chosen to bungee jump off this ledge. I have to do it. And if the cord snaps, well, I might as well enjoy the ride down.”
On spending the “prime Hollywood partying years” of her early 80’s caring for her son, Ryder: “Am I gonna look back and say, God, I wish I could have gone to that… that… concert? I’d rather be listening to my son sing songs. I’d rather be watching him sleep.”
On keeping in touch with ex-husband Chris Robinson: “We iChat with Chris constantly. No matter what is going on in my life, relationship-wise, Chris takes absolute precedence. It’s important for Ryder to hear me say how wonderful Chris is, and how much Chris misses him.”
On exposing details of her dating life: “It’s so hard for me, because I’m so open, to hold back. I could really just go on forever about this stuff. We can talk about Chris till the dogs come home. I married Chris, I had a baby with Chris, Chris will be in my life for the rest of my life. But everything else—I’ve learned that things are better left private until you’re actually planning the wedding.”

BeautySpark: Blueberry Fields Forever
New York, May 27. Image via INFDaily.]
Kate Hudson has washed that Owen Wilson right out of her hair and I’m assuming it was with a member of the blue man group. The look, which could be for a movie or could be an early warning sign for a dose of the crazies, is definitely not suggested for anyone out there who enjoys being taken seriously. Hopefully its for a movie role in which Kate plays that chick who turns into a blueberry in Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, just after the factory trip, when she has to make a living as a candy-scented stripper named Blue Balls.
Whatever the reason, if you plan to attempt (or currently hit the streets with baby blue streaks) don’t.
