Kim Gordon
SHOP: Kim Gordon Artwork for Rodarte; $6,000
Kim Gordon, of Sonic Youth fame, made these exclusive art pieces for the Rodarte Exhibition at the Colette store earlier this month, and now they are finally up for sale. Sure they’re $6,000 a piece, but they are super rare and you’ll obviously be the only one to have it.

Mirror/Dash by Kim Gordon for Urban Outfitters

We gave you a peek at Kim Gordon’s Mirror/Dash line in September.
Now the rocker’s label is the first of Urban Outfitters‘ designer collabs for Spring 2009. Available now in stores and online, it’s a seven-piece collection of a a T-shirt, blouse, sweater, skirt, shorts, and two jackets.
They look pretty basic to me, but the pieces will sell for $54.00 to $98.00.

Kim Gordon’s Hardy Jacket

Cool mom Kim Gordon has launched her line of what she calls “clothes for cool moms.” To meet this need, Gordon collaborated with friends Melinda Wansbrough and Jeffrey Monteiro, Mirror/Dash is limited to one item right now — and it’s limited to 50 pieces!
The Hardy Jacket, “a military-style wool jacket inspired by Françoise Hardy,” will be stocked at Opening Ceremony and Satine, and available through the designers’ website.
Bonus trivia: Mirror/Dash is also the name of a side project Gordon does with Sonic Youth bandmate Thurstoon Moore.
