And New York Fashion Week is busting at the seams with them. We’re talking about boobs. Once relegated to the awkward nip slip, now the tits forward march dominates catwalk, and we love the sheer audacity. These are looks that may remind your man how sexy you can look in that see-thru floor length Yigal Azrouël, if only he buys it for you. Origins rocked Earth Month last night as Grammy winners Train headlined a lineup of whopping new talent: singer/songwriter Nikki Jean and English band Treetop Flyers. And they were all talking about the environment.Origins is greening the world with all natural, completely vegan beauty products. They’re planting trees, recycling tons and leading the industry by example. And they’re rocking out while they do it.

Now that New York Fashion Week is over, it’s time to reflect, reevaluate and recuperate. My fellow editors and I dumped out the contents of our bags to document our Fashion Week experience, or at least what we remember that wasn’t wiped out by excessive drinking and turning.

You know, I can’t pretend that I’m not extremely lucky to be able to do what I do. Running around to and from fashion shows, always one catlike stride away from death — sometimes I feel like I’m living in a movie’s makeover montage. But it can also get extremely tiresome; your feet start berating you for standing in lines for hours and standing in the very back row trying to see over a garish but still absolutely fabulous hat; your confidence, self-esteem and patience are tested as you try to maneuver through the crowds. You start to question why you do it, why bother? Then you see a show that just reaffirms everything. And your feet be damned, your ego bruised as it may be, it’s kind of worth it after all. Away from the tents, Kimberly Ovitz showed her incredible Fall 2011 collection and reaffirmed my love for fashion.
