Kira Plastinina Attracts Some Protesters emerging fashion

Though the young designer was forced to close all of her US stores because of a small 54.4 million dollar debt, Kira Plastinina seems to have reopened. The designer has opened two Los Angeles based stores, under the name K. Plastinina, which she plans to run under her new company Pink Square. Despite the numerous name changes, many haven’t been fooled and have been picketing outside the K. Plastinina stores in L.A. since the reopening.

Kira Plastinina vs U.S. Economy all indie

After less than a year in the states, 10 of 16-year-old Russian fashion sensation Kira Plastinina’s 12 U.S. stores will close.

While Plastinina’s sales have been great overseas, her U.S. retail market saw a decline in demand.  I guess we should be hearing about clearance sales soon…
