Kristen McMenamy wanders about looking lost but impossibly beautiful in Alexander McQueen’s wondrous spring 2012 collection for AnOther Magazine.

- The bro-ing of America continues as men become more and more in touch with their inner lady. The latest development,

- Dolce & Gabbana caused outrage — and protests — among Hong Kong citizens after passing a ban on photos of the store’s window displays. The ban, however, was not enforced for foreign shoppers or Chinese nationals. [WSJ]

- The Vatican continues sweet-talking the gays with Pope Benedict claiming gay marriage basically signals the downfall of humanity. Joke’s on him, that happened after season one of the Jersey Shore. [Towleroad]

- It may be time for Barbie to start picking better friends. Doll versions of Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian – called Dash dolls after their miniature Kardashian-inspired clothing — will befriend Mattel’s golden girl this year. In addition to wearing the trashy leopard print jumpsuits synonymous with the family’s Dash Boutiques, the dolls will “reflect the girls’ measurements.” Meaning the Khloe doll will be played by Ken. Riccardo Tisci’s muse Mariacarla Boscono joins an all-stars cast of models including Naomi Campbell, Kristen McMenamy and Natalia Vodianova in this fierce fall 2011 campaign for Givenchy shot by Mert & Marcus. The upside to that many supermodels at one photoshoot is that you don’t have to spend any of the budget on the catering.

The film stars Chanel regulars Freja Beha Erichsen and Kristen McMenamy, confectionery boy-toy Baptiste Giabiconi, house ambassador Anna Mouglalis as well as a bevy of guest stars including Mark Vanderloo, Brad Koening, Amanda Harlech and Oriol Elcacho.

Lagerfeld “imagined,” wrote and directed The Tale of a Fairy about “an ill-advised use of money which begins with violence and ends with feeling.” A part of this feeling apparently involves Freja and Anna getting all sapphic in extreme close-up.

If you’re not lucky enough to be at the Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc at the Cap d’Antibes on Monday for the Chanel Cruise show — my invitation to that show as well as the Met Gala and the Royal Wedding were clearly lost in the mail — the film will debut on chanel.com at 4 pm, EST. [Chanel]

Whilst the plus size/size zero issue continues to be debated within the fashion world, a new taboo is being challenged – age. For years, cosmetics companies have been developing ranges of anti aging products to help you defy age, but now maybe it’s time to embrace getting old.

Kristen McMenamy may be doing just that this month as she graces the cover of Dazed and Confused showing off her natural grey hair colour. Kristen is nearly 46 and I think she looks fabulous on the cover. Everyone is talking about this cover, but when magazines are trying to move away from heavy airbrushing, doesn’t it make sense for some celebs to also embrace their natural hair colour? I can’t wait to hear what you think of this cover.

First there was two, now there are eight. Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss, Daria Werbowy, Lara Stone, Janeil Williams, Natalia Vodianova, Kristen McMenamy, and Amber Valletta are the naked girls featured on the cover of the latest issue of Love Magazine. Apparently, this was done to prove a point: that all these girls have very different bodies, which is why they also printed their measurements. First of all, comparing Lara Stone’s body to that of 40 year old Naomi Campbell just seems unfair. Second, these ladies are models for a reason, they are all similar in proportions, tall, slender, long legged, with smaller breasts. Third, I might need to get my eyes checked, but in the above covers the girls seem very similar in shape…

The super model loving lives on, but airbrushing dies? Hmm… I’ll see that when I believe it. Harpers claims that there is no makeup or airbrushing used in this editorial, and I’m not sure about that either. Regardless the models, in their 30′s and 40′s look amazing. Another plus is the sharing of supermodel approved beauty tips, such as not to eat dairy because it can lead to break outs from Claudia Schiffer.
