November is going to be an amazing month! I will admit that I love so many of these cheesy cult films, but I think that combined with my Kristen Stewart obsession that is really fueling my love for the Twilight Saga. I think this movie is going to be great, I’m so excited for November 20th!

Kristen and Robert each banked $2 million paychecks for the first Twilight movie, which grossed close to $200 million in the box office. According to the Chicago Sun-Times, both Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were paid $12 million dollars each to reprise their role for New Moon plus 9% of the box office. Anyone else think this is a bit much?

I know that 90% of the comments that stem from this QUEST are going to be along the lines of “ew Kristen Stewart is gross who cares about her” or “both movies are going to suck who cares”, but I’m more interested in seeing how people feel about the clothes and styling. I love Kristen Stewart, I think she’s gorgeous and a refreshing glimpse of normalcy, but with that out of the way lets get into the real question here.

The fashion aspect of Twilight is very eh, but I will say for the role that Kristen is playing it makes sense. It definitely fits in with the rest of the movie. I will say that some of the pieces she wears are pretty stylish and appropriate for a wardrobe that is supposed to  fit in with the setting of Washington state.

Now onto the upcoming movie The Runaways. There is a bit of a binding stipulation in this scenario, she has to play someone who really exists. The wardrobe is actually pretty cool, despite the terrible haircut she had to get). The pieces are heavy with leather and studs, and there are some that you could definitely pair and style into an amazing look.

My verdict? Well, I must say that the Twilight wardrobe is great and more natural looking on Kristen, but the fashion person inside of me can’t help but see the amazing potential in The Runaways wardrobe. The mix of denim, leather and studs is just way too bad ass and fun to style. The possibilities are endless!

Alia Shawkat (Maeby from Arrested Development) and Tatum O’Neal (stepdaughter of Farrah Fawcett and youngest actress to win an Academy Awards) have been announced to join the cast of ‘The Runaways,’ already starring Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning. Shawkat will join the five-member girl band with Fanning and Steward, and O’Neal will play Fanning’s mom (looks like she could be anyways). Will you be seeing this in 2010?

Kristen Stewart is going to play Joan Jett in an upcoming movie, and okay, they do look exactly alike (well, mother and daughter maybe), but I seriously cannot get over how ugly Kristen Stewart’s hair looks. She had really nice hair, I actually liked that about her, and now the Man had to go and screw it up. It does look like she got some extensions though? Compared to my earlier post…

Kristen Stewart had to cut her hair for a new film, ‘The Runaways,’ with…is that really Dakota Fanning? She’s so much older now! I’m unsure what Stewart’s hair will look like down, but by the way she always has it up, I’m guessing she doesn’t like it. It can’t be that bad! It’s a lot darker, kindof reminds me of Shannyn Sossamon, and Stewie should take that as a HUGE compliment from me.

Attention Twilight fans and everyone who hates when I post bashes of Twilight:

They’re having a Twilight cruise. Yes, Forkes is a real place, and now you can really go there. And then you can go to Alaska, because apparently that’s what you do if you’re a vampire/crazed teenybopper who is overly obsessed with Twilight.

Before I start in in my opinion of this, I want you to know the details. You get in a boat with these ladies:

Second, you pay somewhere around $3000 to freeze your ass off in Alaska, only to get some ‘Q&A’ time with these guys:

Wait who was that second one? Who on earth is that? I don’t remember her being in Twilight, even though I saw it three times in theaters and twice on DVD (now you people can’t get mad at me for bashing, you know I’ve seen this movie almost as much as you have)

Wow. She looks really different. Now I may think that this Twilight thing was pretty cool if Kristen Stewart and/or Robert Pattinson were going to be there (I mean, if Robert Pattinson was going to be there, I would pay the $3000 and go, in a heartbeat), but why would I want to go on a cruise ship to a place that rains almost ever day, followed by a place that is below zero every day, and sometimes the sun doesn’t even come up, with SECONDARY characters of a movie.  Really, why?

I’m sorry Twilight fans, and I’m sorry Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene (see, you didn’t know their names either..I had to look it up), but I think that this cruise sounds like the WORST idea in the history of the earth.

Is she seriously wearing that?  Lets start with how rough her hair looks…you aren’t living in that small vampire town anymore, THIS IS AN AWARDS SHOW.  Second, that Spiderman dress…um…? Maybe it would’ve been okay if it wasn’t fire-engine red and didn’t have that weird belt around it.  Finally, Converse? really? I know that young Hollywood is trying to convince the world that they can wear Converse with their $5,000+ dresses because they’re “too good” for Hollywood and they’re “just like everyone else” even though they make millions doing who knows what, but really…THIS IS AN AWARDS SHOW, suck it up and put on some heels, or at least flats.  You won’t have many more chances to go to awards shows after people realize that your movies aren’t good, so you might as well take advantage of designers handing you anything you want while you still can.
