RUNWAY: KTZ Behind The Scenes, Spring/Summer 2010

-0043

Here are some amazing shots from behind the curtain at the KTZ show in London, and the thought of having to braid all that hair has my hands hurting just thinking about it. I’ve decided to devote my time to hanging out backstage rather than watching the actual runway show. It just seems like more fun happens back there then out on the catwalk!

KTZ (short for Kokan to Zai) have been making fashion magic on the streets of Paris and London of late, and the line really brings back the imagination aspect of fashion. Lucky for us, KTZ designs for both men and women, and a lot of the pieces even fall into the unisex category. With such unique and spectacular pieces, the collection begs one to think about what they wear on a regular basis, and more or less tell it to fuck off. The drop crotch pants are to die for, and to say the tops are oversized would be an understatement. Extremely hip, extremely cool, but not easy to pull off. I hope that this collection and look is one that doesn’t get confined to the streets of Williamsburg only. Proceed with caution, but you have my back if you are going to dive into the world of KTZ!

Thanks to The Fashionisto for the images.
