I say keep the lace bodysuit as a top and throw on a casual harem pant. A drop crotch is every wide-hipped girls friend. And a heel can only help at this point.

Or if you’re feeling kooky, throw on a thigh high boot and go for an exaggerated superhero effect.When you throw on a lace bodysuit, you either go big or you go home. Go home and change into a regular camisole.

Even the bitch wearing a tablecloth behind you knows that this is a bad look.

We all know that this Mean Girl has sticky fingers when it comes to fur jackets and Elle photoshoots, but it seems like her spree of crimes against fashion continues with her 6126 line. The “designer” has stolen looks from Black Milk and Jen Kao.

Of course, the thievery doesn’t end there. Lindsay was recently spotted wearing a Jen Kao dress which surprise, surprise was stolen for her 6126 collection. The designer responded to WWD on the drama, saying, “While we are all well aware that being ‘mimicked’ or ‘copied’ has always existed in this industry, I think the evolution of it all has grown to an alarming level. It’s a shame to support the concept of taking advantage of designers who are still trying to develop a name and solidify the image of their design aesthetic.”

Lohan hasn’t made a statement yet, but Kristi Kaylor, president of 6126 is on the defensive stating, “The alleged ‘copying’ claims made by these companies are false and have absolutely no merit or validity whatsoever. … This is merely an accusation based upon a pencil sketch with no concrete viable evidence to back up the allegations.”

Weigh in indies, is Lindsay up to her old habits again or is this just a case of design deja vu?

Central Saint Martins alum Bora Asku showcased their Spring 2010 collection at London Fashion Week. The collection  features an assortment of this new hybrid of sheer and opaque tights with sequins, which might be the next big thing after leggings.

Mark and Estel make really easy clothes, fun to wear and layer, with their signature ripped/shredded leggings as the collection ‘must have.’

Since leggings are here to stay, Lee Jeans from Australia has introduced what they’re calling Licks, the mixing of “Leggings + Jeans”.

Not found in the U.S. yet, Licks run around $135-$165 (US dollars).

Lohan better move over cause these leggings by James Lillis are incredibly covetable (and at $120 bucks a real steal). I suddenly wish I wore leggings just so I can look awesome in these. Queen Michelle does a great job at playing test dummy for these highly desired pant alternatives.

We know that leggings are here to stay, which is why we all have embraced them, whether or not we’d like to admit. I think it’s interesting to see how other major cities rock leggings, and I think the above are two great examples. In the first image, the outfit is a bit image overloady for me, but it works. In the second image, the girly is rocking a pair of leggings that closely resemble denim, which is super cool.

Guess it’s natural progression to go from leggings to panty hose…Lindsay Lohan’s line 6126 will soon expand into panty hose, one pair is rumored to resemble the two toned Chanel hose from Fall 09.

I’m actually excited for this, there aren’t too many designers creating fun hose out there, looking forward to two toned tights.

Can’t say enough about this dress. I actually don’t like plaid, but this is adorable. A great way to feminize the oversized plaid button up shirt, and looks quite comfy and warm for the winter.

Just because Angela Lindvall rocked out the solid to sheer jumpsuit at Stella McCartney’s Spring 2009 show, doesn’t mean we all can. This photograph is a bit misleading…what on earth has she got on underneath the jumpsuit? Could there be a bodysuit under there? Maybe a pair of boy-shorts? Nude lingerie? Sheer on the runway has become more and more acceptable, but I don’t know how the public would react to this jumpsuit with a view. So, how would you wear it?

After checking out Fashionista‘s call for ideas on the way to wear this jumpsuit, I came across a reader comment that was spot on. Leggings. Duh! Why didn’t I think of that? Why not sport this awesome jumpsuit with a pair of slimming leggings to balance out the airy flow of the sheer legs. Match a top base layer to the leggings and you’re on your way to one hell of a knock-out look!

Oh Rihanna!?! How many times do we have to tell you that pleather spandex leggings are NOT a fashion item, and wearing them as pants is just about the worse fashion crime that you can commit in my book. Also, what is with the acid wash denim jacket, did we just go back 20 years in fashion? Oh, and didn’t we catch you wearing the same pants (and boots) earlier this week? Yes we did, below.

These deliciously tacky leggings by Costume Dept. are so bad, they’re good. To those who are actually old enough to remember the era from whence they came, this was the kind of garment synonymous with crunchy hair, acrylic talons, spiked heels and New Jersey. But as far as most 80’s babies are concerned, this is just another addition to our schizophrenic wardrobe (and the perfect piece for that M.I.A. Halloween costume). The Hollywood-based brand offers a wide selection of leggings that come in edgy, throwback prints, and metallic and lame`. Made of mostly flammable material, they also come with cheeky names like Gaudy Gold, Liquid Mercury, and Midnight Madam. Bootylicious girls beware…these are for skinny bitches only.

But how does the fashionably forward wear leggings today, now that most of the city has adopted a pants-free attitude?
