Leigh Lezark is totally my fashion crush. For a short period of time while hitting up Misshapes in NYC I swore I wanted to bed her. Time has passed and the sexiest member of the DJ trio (sorry Geordon) has really made a serious name for herself on the fashion scene picking up celebrity buddies along the way like Agyness Deyn and Karl Lagerfeld. Truly love her.

On a sidenote, whatever happened to Misshapes.com? I was totally into the project and was hoping it would take off, but it seems like they haven’t been able to get a post update in like 6 months. Wonder if this is another thing the group has figured has run its course. Hey guys if you’re interested in getting someone to manage shit for you, feel free to call. There’s definitely some untapped potential that should be played with there.

Woke up this morning realizing how tired I am of Karl Lagerfeld, John Galliano and Anna Wintour.

They always seem to be playing over-acted versions of themselves. It was endearing at first, almost an expected outcome of the over-indulgent nature of fashion types, but I think that their time has come and is now quickly fleeting. Karl can’t eat a proper meal for fear of tipping the scales and reverting back to his fatty days and Winnie is quickly getting trumped by her children and Ann Slowley in the “ones to give a damn about” department. So here’s my short list of those I think might be the next favorite characters of fashion.

Christian Siriano – His royal fierceness, if only anyone will pay attention. Runway is done, but wasn’t he the most interesting character the show has had since the days of that greasy Rasputin looking dude? I just hope he doesn’t become a cliche as quickly as he’s become relevant.

Tyra Banks - She was Sasha before Beyonce was Sasha and she continues to play young Oprah to a tee. Hopefully the model won’t lose any steam as she continues to fuel a generation of big bootied fashionistas. Plus, she’s donned a fat suit. What’s not to like?

Misshapes Go Mainstream (Yeah, It’s Not The First Time, But This Time It’s Major)

Leigh Lezark seems to be poised and ready to ditch the two other skeletors from the DJ group Misshapes to become her own little fashion powerhouse. Thank god, cause Leigh has always been and will always be the most interesting piece of the Misshapes puzzle.

She just signed a worldwide representation and endorsement deal with IMG, which means her face will become so “it” you’ll want to vomit from Leigh overload. This is a big step for the fashion newcomer and will undoubtingly cement her as a bonafide future style icon.

In other news, the Misshapes plan for rock out with their emaciated cocks out on June 7th as they celebrate the launch of their new website (so lame). The party will take place at the Tribeca Grand and will most likely be part of the Grand Life series of events (oh so flippin fun, you have no idea).
