So the prospect of putting 22 homeless women on the catwalk in custom designer clothing is completely radical! One man and one organization, Derek Warburton and Bottomless Closet  have teamed up with 22 designers, such as Nicole Miller, Betsey Johnson and Lela Rose, to clothe the down-on-their-luck women that reap the benefits of Bottomless Closet. We’ve had our rounds of snowfall this New York Fashion Week. Flurries have caught us on our guard on and off the runway. Our screens got fuzzy as we watched busy black and white patterns flurry past.  Designers like Alexander Wang, Christian Siriano, Catherine Malandrino and others have already got the buzz, more are likely to follow suit.

Setting the stage with rich fabrics and bright colors, Lela Rose kicked off her Fall ’09 collection for Payless. All of the shoes feature signature marks seen in a number of Lela’s other collections. The Fall ’09 line, taking inspiration from the forest, doesn’t fail to supply us with a ton of fun colors and bows.
