Get the Look: Leona Lewis’ Barely There Face and Bright Lip

Not every hot makeup look requires a full face of makeup and crooner Leona Lewis shows just that in her hot barely there face, bright lip look. It’s also perfect for the beauty who is perpetually 15 minutes late—a swipe of lipstick and you’re out the door.

Here’s some tips:
1. If you need to even out your skin tone but still want a fast look, apply concealer or stick foundation only where you need it then blend with a foundation brush or makeup wedge. Set with a loose powder. Try: Black Opal Foundation Stick and Becca Fine Loose Finishing Powder.

2. Open up the eyes with a few coats of mascara. Give them some extra definition with eye liner.

3. Make the cheeks pop with a touch of luminizer on the tops of the cheeks in addition to your blush. Try a powder like MAC Mineralize Skinfinish. As for blush, check out this guide to find your perfect shade from NARS–one of my favorite blush brands.

3. Apply some moisture to the lips before applying your bright lip color. Dry lips and bright colors don’t seem to mesh well together. Also try a product like Too Faced Lip Insurance to help prolong the wear of your lip color.

Natalia Vodianova hosted the Love Ball for her own foundation, The Naked Heart Fundation, which helps children with cancer. She helped design a necklace with De Beers in order to raise money for her cause.

Natalia dressed in Louis Vuitton and looked amazing. Peaches Geldof was also really cute, but Alice Dellal looked awful wearing some sort of rags. Also in attendance, Donna Karen and Leona Lewis.

WTF!?! This Look At The Parsons Fashion Benefit #fashionfail

Some student designer at The Parsons Fashion Benefit took Leona Lewis’ “Bleeding Love” a bit too seriously. Ok, I’ll admit, that was a bit graphic, but this has got to be the ugliest and most disturbing runway look I’ve seen in quite some time. Let’s just hope that this isn’t one being sold at Debut in June…I mean, hey, give me a month and I could produce the same look, all natural. I’m sorry, that was disgusting.

Leona Lewis to Launch Fragrance Line

Singer Leona Lewis is reportedly in the beginning phases of not only designing a vegan clothing line, but also launching a fragrance.

A fan of animal rights, Lewis is said to be working with ethical German brand LR to produce the eponymous scent.

No word on a release date now, but Leona joins a dozen other pop stars with fragrance lines (Britney, Christina, J. Lo, etc.)
