French prepsters, Lacoste ,recently commissioned Chinese artist, Li Xiaofeng, to make them a few polos out of porcelain.  The end product?  Body armor that could be worn with a pair of chinos, or found in the tomb of Shi Huang Di.  Pics after the jump…

Chinese artist Li Xiaofeng, creates ‘porcelain clothing’ that is inspired by traditional Chinese art dating back to the 10th century. He sews ancient fragments of porcelain onto leather undergarments to create full-length dresses and men’s jackets — complete with neckties. The ‘clothes’ open on the sides or back, just like any other garment and can be worn!
