Fabulously Functional Sleeves & Cases for the MacBook Air

When my 3.5-year-old MacBook crashed a few weeks ago, I was not a happy camper. The only good thing to come out of a dead battery and display is a new machine, and I am now gleefully typing from a 13″ MacBook Air. Though I am still gushing over its super skinny 2.96 pound frame and brand new Apple computer smell, I’m having trouble finding a sleeve that is both cute and fully functional. So I have thoroughly combed the Internet during this past week and found these MacBook Air sleeves and cases with the FashionIndie stamp of approval. Click through for the gallery.

The fact that I somehow forgot to post Jil Sander’s Spring 2010 collection earlier is inexcusable, but look on the bright side, we’re that much closer to the gauze and linen goodness in store this spring! Overall, the line is relatively natural, encompassing earthy tones of beige and other basics. Sander played with cut outs and burn outs, mixing a fair amount of skin within a primarily tailored and androgynous collection. Loving the tattered, naturally worn out look of the gauze layers as well as the belting of oversized blazers!
