When my 3.5-year-old MacBook crashed a few weeks ago, I was not a happy camper. The only good thing to come out of a dead battery and display is a new machine, and I am now gleefully typing from a 13″ MacBook Air. Though I am still gushing over its super skinny 2.96 pound frame and brand new Apple computer smell, I’m having trouble finding a sleeve that is both cute and fully functional. So I have thoroughly combed the Internet during this past week and found these MacBook Air sleeves and cases with the FashionIndie stamp of approval. Click through for the gallery.

Perfect for tote bag-toting ladies and gents, this handsome sleeve protects your laptop while keeping the load light. And we love fashionable tweed in wine red Orchid.

I wanted this adorable little envelope before I even owned this laptop. Remind yourself of the original Air commercial with a manila mindset.

Sustainable wool felt meets hand-dyed brown leather for this elegant Air sleeve.

Simple but oh-so cute, Incipio's slim sleeve keeps your Air looking trim. And with eight colors to choose from, you're sure to find your favorite.

Like a really chic blueberry for your laptop, this hard case is both cute and heavy duty. And we love how the Apple logo shows through the front.

Girlie and wonderful, cover your Air with illustrated Japanese linen fabric. A string a button closure makes this a cute, crafty gift as well.

This hot little sleeve is leather inside and out and completely customizable. A hidden magnetic closure sells us 100 percent.

The fact that I somehow forgot to post Jil Sander’s Spring 2010 collection earlier is inexcusable, but look on the bright side, we’re that much closer to the gauze and linen goodness in store this spring!
The fact that I somehow forgot to post Jil Sander’s Spring 2010 collection earlier is inexcusable, but look on the bright side, we’re that much closer to the gauze and linen goodness in store this spring! Overall, the line is relatively natural, encompassing earthy tones of beige and other basics. Sander played with cut outs and burn outs, mixing a fair amount of skin within a primarily tailored and androgynous collection. Loving the tattered, naturally worn out look of the gauze layers as well as the belting of oversized blazers!
