Sundance Film Festival has been going in full force for five days now, which means there is plenty of celebrity style on which to comment. While biker boots, chunky sweaters and fur-trimmed everything were seen abundantly on the streets, there was still plenty of sparkle on the red carpet. The British are coming! The British are coming! One If By Land, Two If By Sea in the West Village last night housed Stella McCartney fête to her Pre-Fall 2012 collection; a British Invasion of grown up English prep school. Stella is celebrating 10 years of business, and her mates Liv Tyler and Naomi Watts were there to raise a glass.

Looks like the CFDA Awards will be a star-studded affair, featuring celebrity’s on stage, in the audience and, most importantly, drunk and sloppy on the red carpet.

Amidst an indoor midsummer’s picnic with vegetarian burgers and dogs, cotton candy and a doo wop quartet, Liv Tyler hosted a party for her good friend Stella McCartney in celebration of her new shop opened within Saks Fifth Avenue. The star of the party was certainly Stella McCartney – her full Fall 2011 collection lined the store in Saks, giving us a chance to feast our eyes and hands on the oversized blazers and dropped shoulders sidling body con dresses. The chest of kid Stella clothes was pretty freaking adorable, too. And 10% of proceeds from her sales last night went to The Naked Heart Foundation.
