The site features a convenient countdown clock to the runway show at 1 pm today as well as a rather dry Q&A with the designer. For those who have never seen a runway show, however, don’t be fooled by the disclaimer that the show will start at “1pm Eastern (10am Pacific) or shortly thereafter” — “shortly thereafter” means about a half an hour in.

When asked why Nordstrom chose Wu to break its live-streaming hymen, Executive Vice President of Designer Merchandising Jeffrey Kalinsky responded (rather defensively, I might add), “Jason makes truly exciting clothes for all different types of women of all different ages. He’s become a really strong partner for us. We’re totally behind Jason Wu, period, end of subject.”

Watch the Gucci Cruise collectiontoday at 2 pm (E.S.T). That’s right, Gucci is trying to connect with millennials by streaming the collection on their website. Either that or it’s for all those editors who couldn’t make the flight thanks to the high cost of a plane ticket.
