Look of the Day: Fancy Floral

I wore this outfit yesterday to an event in the city. The top is a floral print shirt length dress from Forever 21, H&M Jeans and Nine West Shoes. I love the colors in the top and paired with the pink platforms gives this look just the right amount of color for summer. Some people go over board with pairing brights, but the blue and tan in the top, tones down the yellow and coral and by adding the pink shoes it allowed the entire outfit to pop.

I also finally did something different with my hair! I put my hair in bantu knots (straight hair twisted into little knots) and it came out like this. I had different size knots which is why my waves were varying lengths, but this was just the experiment. Practice makes perfect right?

Sei que a maioria das pessoas que visitam o blog é do sexo feminino e/ou interessada em moda feminina, mas não dá pra não colocar um post dedicado aos meninos de vez em quando. E esse lookbook é simplesmente *divino*; impossível não postar. Tom Ford realmente está inspirado…

A fase de “a Single Man” ainda lhe rende frutos e a coleção de outono/inverno 2010-11 está claramente com ares de final dos anos 60 e início dos 70. Quero várias dessas peças pra mim – e o resto pro marido. Não tem nada que eu ache ruim; até mesmo os blazers de veludo eu quero. Ultimamente tenho sentido uma inspiração “Annie Hall” cada vez maior dentro de mi, e essa coleção sacia quase todos os meus desejos.

E vocês, abdicariam de coleções femininas em prol de uma coleção mais “andrógina”?
