I feel new talent rising. With proportions that reform the body, Munsoo Kwon‘s menswear has a sense of humor with strict attention to detail. These are basics that will change the look of an entire outfit without overpowering. He has apprenticed under Helmut Lang, Robert Geller and Thom Browne, and his philosophy aligns. Tim Coppens, the proud winner of the 2012 Ecco Domani Award for best new menswear designer is our featured designer of the day. His work is crisp and bright with sharp detailing in subtle color blocking and pocket placement. The cuts are slim and the look is forward. He studied at The Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp in the 90s, a decade after the Antwerp 6 graduated. He helmed RLX for many years before launching his own company last year.
