LOOKBOOK: Tiger of Sweden Jeans S/S 2010

Love the suspenders, not sure I like the overly baggy jeans. Thoughts?
LOOKBOOK: Hare Fall/Winter 2009

Obviously I want to wear an oriental rug as a shawl, but what’s even more obvious is that I want to wear leopard print shorts with a fur lined hooded jacket this winter. Hare’s Fall/Winter 2009 lookbook is busting with the best ways to look significantly cooler (pun intended) than any other dude on the block.

STREET HEROES: Frida J

This is a great classic interpretation of slightly drop crotch pants and uber trendy florals. See more of Frida’s boho perfection on her Lookbook.
STREET HEROES: Johnny D.

I love that this boy is wearing striped pants. I’m not crazy about the shoes (or at least not the white on the shoes, it’s too bright), but I love the tie and the blazer.

STREET HEROES: Frickys S.

Those shorts are so cute, and I love it with the scoopneck tee (as opposed to a vneck). Very adorable, relaxed look.

STREET HEROES: Feel Kinda Baggy

I was searchign through my usual style blogs this morning, when I came across this photo on LookBook and fell in love. Coming from a guy you may find it a bit suprising, but the simple slouchy jeans and tank accompanied by a set of suspenders and booties looks so hot. The look is perfect for those nights out on the town, and it could easily be pulled off by most guys too.

STREET HEROES: Katrina J

This girl is so adorable. Even though she’s wearing red, I still adore the red lipstick, and the necklace is heavy enough without being overdone. That skirt is amazing!

STREET HEROES: Louise E., Paris

I am in love with that coat. Maybe everything looks cooler when it’s in front of a beautiful, historic background? The boots are great too, but again, the ‘pop’ factor of the jacket is the winner.

First Look: H&M Spring 2009 Lookbook

H&M is looking pretty sophisticated for Spring 2009! According to the newest lookbook, you’ll be loving volume / drapery in a couple months, and the stores will be full of a mix between pastels and black & white. The women’s looks complement the men’s Spring 2009 preview we showed you last week.

Sneak Peek: Made Her Think Lookbook Fall 2008

These Rorschach / kaleidoscope-inspired images from Meredith Kahn’s Made Her Think accessories line caught my eye because they didn’t really catch my eye. I mean, they didn’t immediately interest me because the concept seemed too easy. I was sure I had seen something similar before. Then I got annoyed at accuracy of the name of the line.
I haven’t figured out if I have actually seen a stand-out similar layout for another line or in a photoshoot — but flipping through the lookbook for Made Her Think’s Volume VIX: Fallen made me flip through all the previous lookbooks. Kahn standardly mixes the gothic with the traditional, in terms of shape and color. Whether the inspiration is Mexico’s Day of the Dead, Victorian style, or nature, Made Her Think pieces are often vintage-looking and a little mythical. The astrology-inspired styling for this newest lookbook is probably the most modern and definitely moves the line to a new level.
