There’s a new shopping site on the block and its name is HipSwap.  HipSwap is a super simple and safe way to buy & sell things based on your current location. Think Craig’s List meets eBay meets cute, stylish design.  Everyone has a profile so you know who you’re buying from, and sellers even include celebrities like Kyle Richards from Real Housewives and Jordan Cappella from Millionaire Matchmaker.  In their LA location, they even have a $5 delivery van that will bring the goods right to you so you never even have to leave your computer!

Would Louboutin Sue this Artist at the Drop of a Hat?

Last night at the art show at The Old School, I spied a hat that would get Monsieur Christian Louboutin’s panties in a legal twist. This red under-brimmed baseball cap piqued my interest as I warned its creator, Sean Kinney of Eddie Eddie by Billy Tommy for Real Quick for Fun, of a potentially vicious lawsuit in his future for Louboutin copyright infringement. Aware of the class action against YSL, he shrugs off concerns of ramifications as a good indie artist should, and tells me where I can get mine: the grand opening of American Two Shot.

The man with the red sole has been making women stand taller for twenty years. This may not be news to you if you’ve seen the Barney’s window display, his coffee table book, or the retrospective at the Design Museum London. What you still may find yourself thinking is, “What do I get Monsieur Louboutin for giving me 20 years of the most fabulous shoes I’ve ever seen?” Well, historically, an emerald is the official 20th anniversary stone, so you could get him some bling. Giant Graffiti Style Louboutin Takes Over Sunset Strip

Beverly Hills’ Sunset Strip just got a little bit cooler.  Neiman Marcus has commissioned LA based street and graffiti artist Galo MAKE Canote aka LoveGalo to paint this awesomely large mural for Christian Louboutin as a gift for their 20 years of glamour.  Scheduled to be up for the next month, if you’re on the west coast be sure to drive by and check it out.
