Edited by

High heels: they’re not just for women, drag queens and the oft-misunderstood transvestite anymore. The New York Times ”Style” section, the only news source of any import, chronicles a trend sweeping the nation — or at least a trend lightly dusting Los Angeles: the gentleman stiletto.

Edited by

But unlike a crying child, a secret Nazi past isn’t something you can lock in a closet until it passes out from exhaustion.

INDIE NEWSROOM: Dior to Hang Out with Their Wang Out…Tom Ford Keeps It Classy…Rihanna Upsets Irish with Her Boobs

- Seems like Dior‘s top 3 choices to replace John Galliano have all been ruled out — Haider Ackermann is apparently “way too edgy”; LVMH wants Marc Jacobs to stay at Louis Vuitton; and Riccardo Tisci just doesn’t want anything to do with it  – leaving sweatpant provocateur Alexander Wang somehow in the running. Crystal Renn Turns Back Old Hollywood for Vogue

Edited by

Vogue Germany turned to the golden age of old Hollywood glam to give Fall’s freshest a regal place in history. Crystal Renn plays the part of a starlett well, because she quite is one. In some moments, Fashion Editor Katie Mossmann has turned her Audrey Hepburn, in others a bit Jean Harlow. It’s kind of stunning how Miu Miu, Balenciaga, Rick Owens, Lanvin and others fit together now to transport us back to that über chic era.
