The Louise Goldin Spring/Summer 2010 Topshop Collection is still causing a stir due to it’s strong play off the Louboutin for Rodarte shoes from three seasons ago. Honestly? Who cares? No one could afford the the Rodarte x Louboutin’s anyways.

I really like all the designs shown here, but unfortunately they are going to be on the feet of every girl in the city as soon as they come out. Remember girls, just because it’s cool doesn’t mean it looks good on you!

London fashion week, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, begins today. Collections to anticipate: Burberry Prorsum, Pringle of Scotland, Matthew Williamson, Vivienne Westwood, Alexander McQueen, John Galliano, Stella McCartney and newcomers Erdem Moralioglu, Bruno Basso and Chris Brooke, William Tempest and Hannah Marshall.

Finalists for the 9th annual Swiss Textiles Award have been announced, and this year, a CFDA stalwart is a contender. Rodarte’s Kate and Laura Mulleavy are among the six finalists for the prize, a reward made all the sweeter by its well-performing currency. This marks only the second time an American designer has been named a finalist. British designers Richard Nicoll, Louise Goldin, Jean-Pierre Braganza are also finalists, as are Toga of Japan and Cathy Pill of Belgium.
