MALE MODEL HUMPDAY: Top of the Pops

Edited by

Rolling along on our shirtless musical odyssey, this Male Model Humpday pays tribute to the cherubic heartthrobs of pop. Whether dancing in sync or crooning in the backstreets of love, these kids on the block know how to keep the girls and gays screaming. And even though Justin Bieber has the body of a prepubescent Japanese schoolgirl, he’s also here because there really is no bigger male pop tart on the planet than the Biebs. Catch the fever.

MALE MODEL HUMPDAY: Rock Hard Café

Edited by

Male Model Humpday continues humping its way through the hottest men in music this week by applying a heavy dose of guyliner, zipping up an entirely too-tight pair of leather pants and strapping on the ax to wail on what passes for rock stars these days. Sure these rockers may not have moves like Jagger, but they’ve got abs like models and at the end of the day it’s still something to throw your panties at.

MALE MODEL HUMPDAY: Video Bros

Edited by

Christie Brinkley was Billy Joel‘s “Uptown Girl.” Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista and Christy Turlington helped George Michael declare his “Freedom.” And Helena Christensen played Chris Isaak‘s “Wicked Game,” as directed by the legendary Herb Ritts. Models have been appearing in music videos nearly as long as the form has been alive, lest we forget Calvin Klein brief-fillers  Djimon Hounsou and Antonio Sabato, Jr. in Janet Jackson‘s “Love Will Never Do (Without You),” also directed by Ritts. So in honor of our May month of music, Male Model Humpday takes a look at the hunky men making beautiful music…videos.

MALE MODEL HUMPDAY: Beard Necessities

Edited by

Most male models often sport the boyish, clean-shaven, barely pubescent look; but this Male Model Humpday we’ve decided to man up and devote some much-needed attention to the bearded bunch. And we’re not talking just a little stubble, here, kids. These are real-ass beards. Beards that can house a family of birds. Beards that will rub your skin off upon contact. Beards that are on No Fly Lists.  Beards that have probably dated Bradley Cooper. So throw out those razors and brush up against these bristled bros.

MALE MODEL HUMPDAY: One with Nature [NSFW]

Edited by

This Male Model Humpday, in honor of this month’s environmentally-friendly theme, we’re going back to nature. Gone is the hustle and even the bustle of the big city. Instead, listen to the birds, frolic with the animals, climb the highest mountain, swim the deepest ocean and get naked in the woods with some hot male models. FashionIndie, putting the “men” back in environment.

MALE MODEL HUMPDAY: Jeffrey Fashion Cares 2012

Edited by

Has it really been a year since fashion last cared? Ah, the time doth fly. For this year’s Jeffrey Fashion Cares, another cadre of male models stripped down for a good cause — raising money for LGBT charities including Lambda Legal, the Hetrick Martin Institute, the AIDS Community Research Initiative of America and the Point Foundation. Nothing shows concern like some well-oiled pecs and six packs, am I right, ladies? This Male Model Humpday, have a heart with Clint Mauro, David Agbodji, Tommy Dunn, Michael Camiloto, Jeremy Santucci, Parker Gregory, Jason MorganAdam Rothfelder, Paolo Roldan and my new bearded obsession Henrik Fallenius.

Male Model Humpday: Joe Dallesandro, A Warhol Original [NSFW]

Edited by

Along with Edie Sedgwick, Candy Darling, Holly Woodlawn and Nico, Joe Dallesandro was one of Andy Warhol‘s greatest Superstars. A male hustler by trade, Dallesandro rose to stardom portraying just that in Warhol’s 1968 production, Flesh, directed by Paul Morrisey. In 1971 he not only graced the cover of Rolling Stone but also provided the infamous bulge for The Rolling Stones‘ classic Sticky Fingers LP. Warhol later remarked that ”In my movies, everyone’s in love with Joe Dallesandro,” so this Male Model Humpday, and in celebration of our month of Art & Design, feel free to fall.
