For his Fall 2011 show, Manish Arora had a magician on hand who through acts of prestidigitation and legerdemain (TRICKS!) conjured models out of nowhere, sawed them in half and even took them through the fire. But the real spectacle was on the runway, where Arora’s woman walked (beautifully) an almost nonexistent line between animé and Blade Runner.

Firstly, this jacket is the best thing I’ve ever seen. Secondly, this bar code makeup is the best thing I’ve ever seen. The Manish Arora show was today as a part of Paris Fashion Week, and it certainly tickled my fancy.

Flamboyant designer Manish Arora has produced a vibrant range of six Swatch watches which are now on sale. He follows the likes of Christian Lacroix and Vivienne Westwood in designing for Swatch.

Manish Arora took inspiration from the famous Parisian Circus, Cirque d’Hiver, for this latest collection. Models strolled down the runway make up like glamourous clowns, dressed in extreme, eccentric, rich colors and superb fabrics and cuts.
