An interesting choice in network, but then again it’s Lady Gaga and Jean Paul Gaultier so I’m sure that’s the least odd thing about this. Case in point, aong the topics the two fashion icons discuss is sexuality, though Gaga, being Gaga, calls it “fashionality.” I’m not sure if that carries the same weight as “mankini” but I’m contacting the Oxford English Dictionary just in case.

When asked by Jean Paul if there was anything that she didn’t want to be asked, Gags just looks at him and says, very matter-of-factly, “No.” So they talk about everything from her past drug use to her special relationship with the little monsters and of course, the fashionality. The seething fashionality that includes a fair share of spanking and a priest costume.

It’s comforting to know that when future generations look back on the early 21st century, we will be defined by douchey, oversexed tweens with questionable taste in clothes and far too much time on their chubby little hands.

Oxford is also celebrating its 100th anniversary when new words such as marconigram (a wireless telegraph message), kinematograph (something along the lines of a movie projector) and petticoat emerged back in 1911.

Jim Carrey must read Fashion Indie because he is so ahead of the trend with his mankini. He was spotted walking the beach this past weekend in his wife’s (Jenny Mccarthy) bathing suit. Normally I would just interpret this as Jim being his his comedic self, but I can’t help but think that he is aiding the mankini trend into full blossom.
