We were already sniffing out this wide-brimming phenomenon earlier this week, but when Marc Jacobs sent out magnanimous furry top hats, this trend got a head above the rest. Whether floppy like at Rachel Zoe, cowboy like at Nicholas K, or golden like at Samantha Pleet, the brims are thick set to go all the way around.

Oh how we love the beach here at FashionIndie. Between the sand, surf and a nice piña colada, it’s difficult to ever leave once you arrive. At last week’s Miami Swim Week, designers ran the gamut between the skimpiest bikini to full coverage one pieces. Then there’s that are in between that, that leaves the funkiest tan lines behind. Just as Phish has the power to transform a venue into a free deal-for-all kind of village, so do psychedelics have the ability to transform you into some semblance of a free spirit. I’m talking psychedelic prints here like tie-dye and paisley, not LSD or DMT. Though up at the original Woodstock site this weekend, where Phish kicked off their summer tour, there was no shortage of any of those things.
