The new Spring 2009 collection from Marjan Pejoski reminds me how much I love imparctical fashion. Some of the new pieces are so outlandish and random them blow my mind. Aside from being crazy and unique, all the elements of a completely wearable collection are there. The blue see through trench is to die for, and the strapped shoes are some of the coolest I have ever seen. What do you think indies? Will you be searching the city high and wide for this collection come spring? Or will you be spending your money on something else?

Speaking of his designs he says, “It is romantic and poetic on the one hand but hard and challenging on the other. It is innocent as well as sinful, androgynous but dandyesque.” Marjan is well aware that his inspiration is fierce, and with that, the bold designs must reflect their nature. Using empowering colors and intricate detail, Marjan never fails to produce an efficient product. The designs are flawless whether it be skirts, shirts, pants or jackets. The material used throughout the lines greatly contributes to their edgy appearance. Though the designs are terrific on their own, it is important that, when worn, an individual is able to reflect their personal style. Marjan’s clothing allows for that ramification. It is truly wearable, and that is the best part!
