Mark Ronson’s Gucci suit nearly rips as some random announcer attempts to take his pants off. We get a shot of his bottom and the announcer gets a grab at his nuts and berries.

Can someone do this to Kanye already? Seriously, this level of humiliation should only be reserved for the douchiest of douches. I actually feel really bad for Ronson after seeing this…

The launch of GUCCI ICON-TEMPORARY, a flash sneaker store that will travel the world beginning in October 2009 with its first stop in
New York City on 43 Crosby Street. Frida Giannini has collaborated with Mark Ronson on a limited collection of sneakers.

Gucci has announced the launch of the Gucci App for iPhone and iPod touch, which is now available from the App Store.

There was so much hype (and I suppose there still is) around these shoes, and now that I’m seeing them I can’t say I’m blown away. They are a bit boring to me. In fact, I saw these same shoes (more or less) at Topshop two weekends ago. Nothing against the shoes personally, but I am kind of bummed that this is what fashion has come to. Where’s all the inginuity that we have all grown up to love?

The Gucci sneakers by Mark Ronson will be available at the first Gucci flash sneaker shop in NYC (Crosby St) on Oct 23, the other stop will included Art Basel Miami, London, Berlin, Paris, Hong Kong and Tokyo.

On Saturday night Another Magazine held a dinner to launch its new autumn issue, coinciding with the start of New York Fashion Week. For the venue, founder Jefferson Hack chose artist Dustin Yellin’s studio in Red Hook, and for the entertainment, modern dance troupe Stephen Petronio Company. Guests at the party, which was sponsored by Bamford, included Craig McDean, Leigh Lezark, Veruschka, and Mark Ronson.

Also in issue 15: Another Magazine embarks on a very special road trip with cover star Scarlett Johansson… takes a fantastic voyage through the archives of the most beautiful woman in the world, Veruschka…. and delves into the brilliant mind of Miuccia Prada via her art collection. Bazaar has recreated Wes Anderson’s finest movies, The Royal Tenenbaums, about a dysfunctional family. Ironically, the shoot was recreated with one of NYC’s ‘cool’ families: the Ronsons.

The twin sisters, Samantha, of Lindsay Lohan fame, and Charlotte, of fashion designer fame, and DJ brother, Mark, have dry wit down pat. From Samantha’s fur and Hermes, Mark’s Adidas track suit and Charlotte’s tennis-esque garb, they nailed the wardrobe. But the Tenenbaum’s had attitude, and I have to say, so do the Ronsons.
