Not one to slink into acting under the guise of her last name alone, she’s graduated from NYU Tisch School of the Arts and the Atlantic Theater Company Acting School in New York. She’s also recently been compared to a young Maggie Gyllenhaal. Looks like little Olsen may have a solid acting career on her hands.

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen will be launching a new Junior’s brand exclusively at JCPenney called Olsenboye. To gear up for the launch of the new line, New Yorkers will have the chance to get an early peek at the new collection.

Starting today (10/26), JCPenney will be parking a “treat truck” for three days in three locations in NYC, for a sneak peek at some Olsenboye product, the Olsen’s will be making a surprise appearance at one of the three locations.

The duo known as Mary-Kate and Ashley are expanding their high-end fashion line, The Row, to include a collection of sunglasses. They’re said to be teaming up eyewear designer Linda Farrow and the line is expected to be ready in time for next spring.

They’re said to be creating only four looks, which would include aviators, oversized, vintage-inspired, and round rims– all of which reflect both of the girl’s personal taste in shade-wear.

Swedish brand Acne launches their new line of menswear-inspired jackets and pants, perfectly structured, and paired with sky-high platforms.  I’m not so keen on the plastic pants, but I suppose they pair well with the space-age silver platforms.  I’m sure the Olsens will be running out to get theirs ASAP.

Those bastards at PETA have striked again. This time they defaced Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsens star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. My guess is they are just as mad as the twins that they have to share a star and are encouraging the split.

So while I spent some quality time on my couch watching daytime TV during Thanksgiving weekend, I randomly found myself watching Full House. Now Full House is just a show stuffed to the gills with trainwrecks, but I couldn’t help but notice how extremely skinny Kimmy Gibbler was. Do I smell a book deal concerning Kimmy’s struggles with weight? We already got Marsha Brady’s tale of how she used to suck Greg Brady’s dick for coke this year, why not another family classic? In attempt to validate my assumption that Kimmy Gibber used to spend her time off camera hugging porcelain, I figured You Tube would be a proper source of information, and this video happened. Now you may have to watch this twice because the first time is just so ridiculous you can’t focus hard enough to count all Kimmy’s ribs. Oh Kimmy Gibbler you were so fashionable! Timothy White recently rounded up a star studded group of models to photograph for his new book Hollywood Pinup. The shot are sexy, old fashioned and awesome! Some of my favorite people were in the shoot too. Michelle Trachtenberg, One of the Olsen Twins (don’t know which one), Elisha Cuthbert and Kate Hudson. I’m not one who reads much of anything besides blogs (loser I know), but I might actually have to buy this book strickly for coffee table purposes to keep my YSL and Louis Vuitton books company.

Sad day in the magazine world means a good day in the Blogosphere. CosmoGirl is calling it quits in December, which means that just one less magazine we have to take down in the long run. Apparently the content of CosmoGirl is going to be shifted over to Seventeen Magazine. The Internet is where it’s at people. Seriously indies, with the Internet here to stay how long do you think these magazines will hold up?

Nylon Magazine shot these looks for Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen’s Elizabeth & James Fall 2008 collection. The collection seems completely off from the high couture the girls normally wear, which is actually a good thing.  The youngest grannies in NY have really taken their collection to a new level as seen from the photos here. Gloves, overcoats and very must have hats.

Well, the malnourished have triumphed yet again.  Mary Kate & Ashley have taken time out from not bathing and not eating and making high-fashion look like duds from Goodwill to bring us a new “high-end” line. Now I was expecting to totally and completely pan it in my polite and friendly manner,  but it ain’t all that bad.  I actually think it’s a good beginning for the girls sportswear line………….did I say that?!  Must be a full moon.

‘Elizabeth’ refers to the signature blazer tailored more to a woman’s form and ‘James’ is the boyish tailored blazer with a boxy fit.  E & J offers fun pencil skirts, fur jackets (PETA is gonna bust some heads for this one), sack dresses, cashmere sweaters………..something for the sickly fashionista longing for a piece of fried chicken in us all.

I really am shocked.  I mean it’s not as if it’s the second coming of Valentino, but it’s not bad – not bad at all.  Truth is,  I know these girls aren’t really designing a thing in their collection but what can we really expect from them?!  After all, your brain turns to poo when all you’ve eaten is lettuce and paper towels.  I’m sending a box of fatnin’ donuts and a few double meat, double cheezes from Micky D’s 1st class for the utter salvation of The Trolsons………put it in ya mouf’.
