Myf Shepherd (who was also on Aussie Vogue this month) played a geisha girl for Sofia Sanchez and Mauro Mongiello.  The first photo is amazing, I think Shepherd is totally gorgeous, and I love the jewels in her hair.  Her face is a bit dead in the rest of the pictures, but maybe she’s supposed to be looking like a doll?

Model Imogen Morris Clarke is an accessory girl extraordinaire in this month’s spread “A Mixing Match” for Vogue Pelle Italia. Shot in collaboration by Sofia Sanchez and Mauro Mongiello, the spread subliminally draws attention to the handbags, shows and jewelry used in the spread. The editorial is a culmination of everything good about fashion: the clothes, shoes, bags, jewelry, makeup, styling, posing…hell, I love it all! Fashion Indie doesn’t typically come across too many accessory editorials, but it’s safe to say that this one will have us looking a tad bit harder.

There are only good things to say about  the February 2009 spread for Numero Korea. Shot by photographers Sofia Sanchez and Mauro Mongiello, the spread features my personal favorite model of the moment, Tanya Dziahileva. A combination of excellent styling (by Felipe Mendes), Dziahileva’s fierce faces and poses and brilliant lighting created a spread that will set the bar high for 2009.

The spread “Puppet” in Numero Korea’s January issue has made me incredibly bored with my hair and makeup as of late. Stylist Samuel François decorates model Myf Shepherd in floral headdresses, technicolor wigs and bright shades of pink and purple makeup. Photographers Sofia Sanchez & Mauro Mongiello capture Shephard in the most whimsical of ways, creating an acid trip-China doll kind of realm. Oh how this makes me long for spring.
