BEHIND THE BEAUTY: John Galliano

At John Galliano’s fashion show the look Galliano was going for to me was…well you decide.
On of my favorite makeup artists, Pat McGrath teamed up with hairstylist Julien d’Ys creating a kaleidoscope of looks with inspiration taken from sources around the period of the 17th century including William Hogarth, James Gillray and Queen Elizabeth’s security guards.
McGrath used eyeliner in Night clubbing and Max Factor 2000 Calorie mascara.
d’Ys, added voluminous wigs in cotton-candy colors and sprayed others into multicolored spikes, which were plastered with Galliano-print paper.

ADDICT: Gisele Bundchen for Max Factor

Gisele Bundchen is making her debut as the spokesmodell of Max Factor’s ColorGenius Face Collection nearly a year after the possibly engaged model was tapped to replace actress Carmen Electra as the face of the cosmetics giant’s 2009 ad campaign.
